Consultation

Here at Sweetfern we provide consultation to families navigating therapeutic supports - whether it be beginning the process, transitioning between programs or working with a larger team - we are here to help.

• Interpretation of evaluations, reports and recommendations 

• Guidance related to the IEP process, including setting goals and identifying appropriate accommodations

• Navigating transitions - Early Intervention to school based settings or training for vocational opportunities

• Providing connections to community resources, such as other therapists and case management services

We also provide consult services to educational teams and school districts for feeding and eating, complex communication cases and Alternative and Augmentative Communication (AAC). We focus on collaborative consultation with other professionals to support student growth and development in their least restrictive environment​.
